Zagreb Zoo

On Sunday, 22.05.2011., for the International biodiversity day and Nature conservation day in Croatia, at the zoo will be origami workshops. From 11.00 h - 18.00 h, all interested visitors will be able to make various origami animals from colourful paper. In that way we wish to point out the diversity of wildlife and its significance.

Visitors will also be able to visit the info booth of Croatian association for studying and conservation of ants – HMD.

Zagreb Zoo will also be a host to participants of EuroEnviro 2011 symposium. It is a meeting of students from across Europe focusing on environment and this year it will be in Croatia, from 20th to 28th May. About 50 students from all over Europe, with the help of expert lecturers and interested public, will take on the subject of «Biodiversity and urbanism». Part of the programme will be held at Zagreb Zoo
