To ensure a pleasant and eventful experience for our visitors, we offer various activities and services.

KEEPERS TALK…
To see the animals whose natural habitats are from different parts of our planet is a privilege, but to be close to them and take care of them is truly a special experience and a special job. Our keepers gladly share their experiences and knowledge with visitors during keepers talk.

BOAT RIDES
Visitors can participate in a relaxing and unique tour of the zoo while rowing a boat on the first lake. To make the tour even more pleasant and interesting, one of our educators joins the boat ride and talks about the history of the zoo, the lake and its inhabitants today.

Boat ride schedule: Monday through friday
Boat ride schedule: from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. (every 20 minutes)
Boat ride schedule depends on working hours. Last ride starts at 2:40 P.M.
Price per boat ride:
          children up to 10 years old: 5 Kunas
          adults and children 10 years and older: 10 Kunas
Boat rides start on the right shore of the first lake inside the zoo grounds (at the insect pavilion).

ZOO Café
Visitors can enjoy hot beverages, juices, sandwiches and ice cream, on a terrace or inside of the zoo café. We do not serve alcoholic beverages. The café is located next to the sea lion enclosure, and the working hours match those of the zoo.

GIFT SHOP
You can buy various souvenirs, calendars, t-shirts, etc. The shoppe is located between the gray seal enclosure and the enclosure for Australian animals.
