Zagreb Zoo

Date: 08.01.2012.

By taking a night tour through the Zoo and listening to the Abracadabra Zoo story, we remind ourselves of, and acquaint ourselves with the legends that were created in these territories. The first Croatian vampire Juraj Grando and, of course, the ever present hostess of the Zoo, the Witch of Maksimir, will introduce you to the beings that, even to this day, arouse our interest and even spark some fear.

PROGRAMME DATES: 16., 17. and 18.10. and from 20.10 to 31.10. 2010.
TIME: From 18:00 untitill 20:30, from 20:30 to 21:00 – pumpkin carving
For families with children older than 5 years old.
(Children up to 10 years old have to be acompanied by an adult at all times)
GROUPS: Every day up to 24 people

PROGRAMME:
– tour the zoo with „vampire Juraj (George)“ and other caracters from croatian myths and legends
– tour the pavilions which are specially decorated for this event.
– grill (hot dogs, juice)
– hot magic potion for every visitor (tea)
– music workshop – drumming
– creative workshop – pumpkin carving

TICKET SALES:
All tickets are sold out!
You can buy tickets for „Abrakadabra Zoo“ at the main ticket counter at the main entrance to the zoo. It is recommended to buy tickets as soon as possible due to a limited number of them.
(the ticket counter is open every day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
Tickets go on sale on Monday 4.10.2010.
Deposit and reservation: There is no deposit and reservation. Your place in the programme is secured when you buy a ticket. If there is a cancellation of arrival, there is no refund.

PRICE: 30 Kunas for children ages 5 to 14, 50 Kunas others

ENTRANCE AND EXIT:
Gathering is at 18:00 hours at the alternate entrance to the zoo (Fakultetsko Dobro street) where you will be met by our educators.
Exit is at the same place at 21:00 hours.
There is parking available at the alternate entrance to the zoo.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
! Only visitors with a ticket can take part in the programme.
! Tickets cannot be bought just beefore the programme starts, but have to be bought ahead of time at the main ticket counter at the main entrance to the zoo.
! The programme is envisioned as a fun adventure before halloween.
T! he programme is theatre – like. Visiotrs are quided by immaginary caracters from myths and legends.
! Only adults and children that have approval of an adult and are under the supervision of the adult can carve pumpkins.
