Birthday at the Zoo
CHILDREN’S BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT THE ZOO
Do You wish for a different kind of a birthday party?
The Zoo is the right place for You!
Birthday duration: 3 hours
Number of children: up to 25 (suited for children 5 and up)
Educators: one educator for up to 15 children, two educators for up to 25 children
Food, drinks and cutlery: not included in the price and can be self-organized or ordered at the “Zoo-Café” (telephone: +385 (0)98 633186.) Birthday cake should be brought separately (refrigerator is provided).
Price: up to 10 children – 600 Kunas; 30 Kunas per each additional child
WARNINGS!
- Children should always be accompanied by an adult (one adult per 5 children);
- Tickets for accompanying adults are included in the price - other adults pay according to the current ticket price (30 Kunas);
- Food and drinks are not included in the price;
- In order to store the food, drinks and cake in the fridge, please arrive at the education centre and contact the educator at least 20 minutes ahead of the commencement of the birthday party (parents may enter the Zoo from the back entrance situated on Fakultetsko dobro Street, where parking is provided for);
- For a more comfortable stroll through the Zoo, a colourful light cart in which they can store presents is available to the parents;
- We have a program specially adjusted for rain or bad weather, so there is no need for cancellation (however, children should carry umbrellas or raincoats.)

PARTY:
► Gathering in front of the “Birthday Tiger” at the Zoo entrance (Zoo Ticket Office), where the group will be greeted by the educator.
► Children put on birthday caps in order to be visible at all times and avoid getting lost in the crowd of visitors.
► A short tour around the Zoo with the educator, during which special attention is placed on the animal species that is the theme of the party.
► Arrival at the Education Centre and introduction to the animal species through contact with live animals and educational materials.
► Fun school: knowledge quiz and educational games
► Arts and crafts workshop
► Food, drink and cake time

FOR BIRTHDAY PARTIES AGES 5-7
Theme: SNAKES
► Short tour around the Zoo, with special attention paid to snakes and other reptiles;
► Arrival at the Education Centre and introduction to a live snake, which can even be touched;
► Fun snake school with a quiz and educational games;
► Creating a model of a snake or a snake poster.
Theme: MAMMALS
► Short tour around the Zoo, with special attention paid to certain mammals;
► Arrival at the Education Centre and introduction to a live desert mouse, which everybody can touch;
► Fun mammal school with a quiz and educational games;
► Creating animals from various materials.
Theme: BIRDS
► Short tour around the Zoo, with special attention paid to birds;
► Arrival at the Education Centre and introduction to birds with the help of eggs, nests and feathers;
► Fun bird school with a quiz and educational games;
► Creating a poster.
FOR BIRTHDAY PARTIES AGES 8 AND UP
Theme: AFRICA - NEW!
► Short tour around the Zoo, with special attention paid to African species of animals;
► Arrival at the Education Centre and introduction to a live desert mouse that lives in Africa;
► Fun school about Africa with a quiz and educational games;
► Creating a poster.
Theme: SNAKES
► Short tour around the Zoo, with special attention paid to snakes and other reptiles;
